Introduction

In this article, you will discover all the configurations related to your Praxis account following this structure:

Account Configuration

To connect your Praxis account, you need the API key, which you can retrieve from Praxis’s Mirakl back office. After entering the API key, the window will automatically expand to certify that the information is valid. This will allow you to access the main settings, which include:

  • Store Identifier: You can always find this in the Mirakl back office.
  • Sales Channel: Selectable from those enabled on the connected account. Praxis is available in IT, DE, AT, and BE markets, but your account may only be active in one of these.

Additionally, you will find other settings organized into three main “Hubs”: Logistics, Synchronization, and Distribution.

Logistics Settings

In this section, you will find key options for managing orders:

  • Download Orders: This checkbox is always enabled and cannot be disabled. This means MarketRock will automatically download all orders from Praxis.
  • Automatically Accept Orders: You can decide whether MarketRock should automatically accept incoming orders from Praxis.

Synchronization Settings

To synchronize data with Praxis, you must enable the Sync Offers option. Until this option is activated, you will not be able to configure other settings. Once enabled, you can select:

  • Sync Quantities: MarketRock will send quantity updates for products.
  • Sync Prices: MarketRock will update product prices.
  • Standard Order Preparation Days: Specify the number of days (≥ 0) needed to prepare the goods. This value is used as a default, but if a product already has a custom value, that will be sent instead.
  • Standard Logistics Class: You can indicate a predefined logistics class for all offers, though it is not mandatory.
  • Standard VAT Rate: This value will be sent for products without an associated B2C tax class. For products with a B2C tax class, the tax rate for the linked market country will be applied.

Example: A product with the tax class “Standard” has a 22% tax rate for Italy and a 19% tax rate for Germany. MarketRock will send the correct value (22 for Praxis IT, 19 for Praxis DE) based on the market.

Distribution Settings

To comply with Praxis’s guidelines, you can configure some distribution settings:

  • Add Brand Name to Title: Praxis requires the brand name to be present at the beginning of the product title. Enabling this checkbox will ensure MarketRock adds the brand name unless it is already included (in any position) in the title.

Example: A product named "Shoe Model 12345" with the brand Nike will be sent as "Nike Shoe Model 12345".
